Neurosomatic Therapy is a manual therapy that works with the muscles to solve pain based on the mechanics of the body.
NST is based on the theory that "form follows function and function follows 
form." This means that the distortion of the body is often correlated to the improper function of the body. For example, a slouching posture can decrease digestive function or a trigger point into the ear can affect hearing or balance. When the proper structure is restored to the body, the accompanying problems are often alleviated.
Angela Stice of Advanced Total Body Wellness is a CABA member that can take the description of your pain and treat the muscles that contribute to that pain. This allows you to have relief in just a few sessions and for some almost immediately.

Angela was drawn to Neurosomatic Therapy, searching for answers to her son's chronic back and neck pain. She exhausted all traditional medical treatment from doctors, physical therapists, back specialists, orthopedic surgeons, and chiropractors to relieve her son's constant back and neck pain and scoliosis. Years later she was told nothing else could be done for her son and he'd learn to live with pain. Frustrated with that prognosis Angela did one more online search for help and was directed to The Center for Neurosomatic Studies (CNS) and The St John-Clark Pain Treatment Center (SJCPTC).
Angela scheduled her son's first appointment without knowing the life-changing impact Neurosomatic Therapy would have on his life! For the first time, she and her son were given answers from a full body assessment, hope that her son would get better and relief as her son's scoliosis improved and his pain went away!
Seeing remarkable changes in her son, Angela abandoned her Masters of Art Therapy education to become a Neurosomatic Therapist. The journey to change the lives of people suffering from unresolved pain and dysfunction, just as her son's life was changed, was challenging, rewarding, and definitely the right career path!
