DESCRIPTION:Join us Tuesday November 3rd and learn  how a Museum of Science operates with educational programs and virtual content for those to keep discovering at home. Plus learn how fun interactive experiences can help enrich your child's learning opportunities and how the industry is changing to adapt to the current conditions. \n\n \n\nRob Lamke is the Chief Operating Officer at the Museum Of Science and Industry (MOSI) in Tampa\, Florida. In his current role Lamke leads the Marketing\, Operations\, Public Relations and Exhibit Development teams. \n\n \n\nRob joined MOSI in 2017 after spending 8 years at The Florida Aquarium in various roles that centered on the Guest Experience as well as project management. He was Project Manager for the Aquarium's $16M renovation and expansion as well as developing the venue's award winning and industry leading Day of Discovery where special needs families had access to the venue during off hours.\n\n \n\nWhile at MOSI Rob has completed a complete restructure and renovation of the building\, staff and exhibits with a focus on S.T.E.A.M. engagement. A major part of this change was on the exhibit path itself. Since reopening after a 3 month closure in 2017 MOSI has created 6 permanent exhibits\, updated over 21 exhibits and hosted 3 traveling exhibits. All having the focus of multiple age engagement within one experience. \n\n \n\nRob is a six-sigma green belt and a Civilian Commander at MacDill AFB. He is a member of the USA National Triathlon Team and a 4 time Ironman finisher. He and his wife Kim have 4 Children ages 18\, 17\, 14 and 8.
